RENEW WITH US.

Explore the significance of baptism and why it is a vital step in your path to salvation.

Our Mandate.

Acts 2:38

We must know that baptism is a commandment.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Our Statement of Faith.

Baptism, in the name of Jesus by immersion in water, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for all who believe. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 6:2*4;8 Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39)
Baptism is two-fold. You must be born of water and of Spirit (Holy Spirit) as evidenced by speaking in other tongues. To have water baptism without receiving the Holy Spirit (or vice versa) means that the plan of salvation has not been completed. John 3:3-5; Titus 3:5

We must know that baptism is a commandment.

Our Instruction.

Have Faith (Believe)

Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and died for your sins. Belief alone does not complete salvation. This is the first step. You can believe even if you don't have full understanding. This comes through guidance & instruction.

Mark 16:16

Our instruction is the same as that of our Lord Jesus and is what the Apostles established for the Church.

Repent from Dead Works

Be sorry and turn away from your sins. Recognize that you need a Savior. Repentance is not just remorse but a change of heart and mind. True repentance is a continuous process.

Submit to the Lord

Give your life completely to Christ. Recognize that you need God to lead and guide your every move. Accepting Jesus as your Savior does not complete Salvation. Faith without works is dead.

Be Baptized

Be fully immersed in water for the remission of your sins having the name of Jesus Christ pronounced over you. The name of Jesus must be applied, not titles Father, Son, Holy Ghost. There is salvation in no other name.

Receive the Holy Spirit

Believe God has promised his Spirit and that you shall receive it in accordance to scripture. Speak in tongues as evidence of receiving the gift. Not to be confused with one of the operational gifts of the Spirit.

Live a Holy Life

Join an assembly, be taught, and grow in God. You are a new creature, the old has passed away, all things (including you) are new! Receive instruction on how to live a righteous and holy life unto God.
